Each person is unique and the way one person scars may be much different from the way another person may scar. Scar revision is performed after the body has had time to heal itself (usually 1 year or so after the initial trauma). Dr. Pousti will meet you at the initial consultation and let you know if a scar revision would be of benifit to you. Frequently, a scar revision can be performed in our office under local anesthetic, allowing you to go home soon after the procedure.

im a young teen. guy….. i had the same problem. it takes time to rid a zit. i used to use all these treatments that promise to clear ur skin but only erated my skin. i use proactive now…mainly the face mask but i really dont ever have a problem. i have read about care for the face and another way to get rid of them quickly is to not think babout it. u will stress your body about it making yourself notice or focus the attention to that one certain area which will make it much worse. also eating habits reflect ur appearence as i may. ummm… eating fruits with citruises as well as salad will help….meaning u must avoid ur greasy foods wich is fine every once in a while. i use blotting papers that elimanate any grease from the burger i just ate from my skin, and that will prevent any forming zits. im only thirteen and a guy but i know that this will hopefully work out in a way that did for me

I have actually just tried a so called diet that i made up I ate strictly fruits and vegetables, fish and soy for protein. then i made myself to not look at my face for one week and act like i have no acne. one the week was done i was clear from acne.

also use blotting sheets to abosorb oil within the skin and rid of any shiny appearance upon your face.

lasers can help remove them probably the best- it would be expensive, but the plastic surgeon or dermatologist who would do it would probably give you an option of “X” dollars per treatment or “X” dollars for a package of multiple treatments- scars dont go away w/ just one treatment.
my sister worked in a plastics office & did laser treatments on a guys port wine stain on his face- it was 95% gone in about 8 treatments.
it will depend on how many treatments the doctor thinks it will take — estimate at least $1500-2000.

Go to a beauty shop and get AMBI or PALMER’S cream it’s meant to lighten scarring from acne or age spots…I had acne scars on my chin and I purchased PALMER’S and it faded the acne spots within a few days, but you have to be consistent in putting it on twice a day.
